NetEnt’s Nunchucks Brings High-Kicking Nuns and Big Wins to the Reels

NetEnt has launched Nunchucks, a new online slot that mixes martial arts action, church-themed visuals and a group of nuns who are clearly not in the mood to forgive and forget.

Nunchucks has 4,096 ways to win, an RTP of 96.21% and bets ranging from $0.20 to $80 per spin. The game’s top payout can reach up to 12,000 times the original bet.

The main characters are four tough nuns protecting their parish from Sinpin, a gangster trying to steal money from the church’s communion boxes. Each nun comes with a different feature and together they can turn a normal spin into something much bigger.

The Colossal Nun appears as a Mystery Symbol and can grow from a 2×2 block up to a 4×4 block. Once she finishes expanding, she can reveal regular paying symbols or turn into a Giant Wild.

Then there is the Wild Reel Nun, the team’s explosion expert. When her grenade goes off, every symbol on an entire reel becomes Wild. If the Colossal Nun lands over one of these Wild Reels, she transforms into a large Giant Wild, adding even more chances for strong wins.

The Multiplier Nun adds multipliers to one or more reels. Any win that uses those reels can get a serious boost. Meanwhile, the Upgrade Nun improves features that are already active. She can make the Colossal Nun bigger, add up to three extra Wild Reels or double the number of reels with multipliers.

Nun symbols can also trigger respins, keeping their special effects active for another spin. The bonus round starts when three or more Sinpin Bonus or Super Bonus symbols land. Players can receive 8, 10, 12 or 14 Free Spins depending on how many bonus symbols appear.

The Super Bonus takes things up another level. During this feature, Nun Features stay active for the whole round, which can create some wild combinations. For players who do not want to wait around, NetEnt also includes an Elevate Features option that can improve the action or trigger the bonus faster.
